Tom left the Metro New York area in 1959 for Northeastern Jr. College (NJC) in Sterling, Colorado on an athletic scholarship. He went on to Western State College in 1964 earning a bachelor's degree. He then went on to get his master's degree from Adams State College in 1972. He was married to Kay in 1962, and they have two children, Scott and Kristi. Tom now has three grandsons and 3 step grandchildren. Tom retired after 20 years of teaching in 1993. He started working in real estate with United Farm in 1972 as a part time sales person, until he purchased the company and operated it as SkiCo Realty. He then merged SkiCo into United Country Premier Brokers which then became KW Colorado Mountain Real EstateGroup.
Because of the efforts, education and talent of the staff, both SkiCo Realty and United Country Real Estate earned many local and national awards including Business of the Month, Business of the Year and National Leader in Listing and Sales. The same Brokers are now Bliss Realty Group Central Colorado.
Tom loves helping people realize their real estate dreams by providing the guidance necessary to finding the right property or selling at the best possible price. Tom's interests involve family, travel, management, real estate investment, golf and helping at-risk youth and their families including Family Youth Initiatives, Victim's Advocacy, and Restorative justice.
